About
The purpose of this website is to showcase some of my work that I have created in my own time and whilst studying at university.
I am a graduate living in Sussex after studying Design for Interactive Media at Portsmouth University where I received a 2:1 BA (Hons) degree, which covered a vast range of digital and printed design.
I have a keen interest in photography and web design, and I like to work on these skills in spare time. With my photography I have attempted to explore some experimental shots which a range of styles including long exposures, abstract imagery and very fast action shots, all of which you can find examples of on this site.
I have worked with some local bands and some of the local community with websites and photography. This has included the work I have done for The Lieutenant’s Mistress getting praise and recognition during a review of the band’s latest EP release. Some of my photos have also been used on the BBC Digital Picture of Britain website.
I am currently working for an investments company in Brighton in the role of a Senior Technical Administrator in Customer Services. In this role I have been involved with problem solving, procedural improvements, projects and designs with vital communications, both within the company and with customers. I have also been involved with testing the corporate websites and its features which have been fed back to a project board. I also help support and organise a team of up to ten people.
I have also worked with testing websites to make sure they are appropriate, working and fully usable to their best ability. I have tested websites for a number of people including national DJ's, a professional basketball team, and the investment company I currently work for.
I have worked with in all major Microsoft products and Operating Systems. I am competent in Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver as well as Frontpage. I have also spent a lot of time at college and university working with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I have knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, RSS and Javascript.
