The Gallery of Stuff
This website is my biggest as it houses over 3000 personal photos that I have taken featuring me and my friends from college, university and elsewhere. Originally it started as a really basic site that had a few thumbnail images, but this site evolved with my design skills and helped me work on navigation techniques. Everything split into category and chronological order allowing people to find the latest update or a page from 3 years ago in an instant.
The website and my camera has now become infamous when a night out or an event is arranged. The site has recently been improved to give it a new colour scheme which gets away from the original theme based upon my old college identity. A recent upgrade of the site sees it use a PHP gallery script making it much easier for users to view the many photos taken on a certain date.
This site was created long before Social Networking sites like Myspace and Facebook allowed people to share photos online with ease. For people at my college and my course at university it became the main website to view after a night out, or party.
